The arrival of the weekend brings a new appearance of Xur in Destiny 2. Players with and without the Forsaken extension can now contact the mysterious merchant for a refreshing list of exotic items that they have. he has to buy. Here's where to find it and what it has to sell.

Also from Xur, you can take a Five of Swords challenge card to add modifiers to the Nightfall strikes (needed to take up the Powerful Gear weekly challenge to score over 100,000 in Nightfall). In addition, it has the Fated Engram, which is expensive at 97 Legendary Shards, but whose decryption is guaranteed in an Exotic Year One that you do not have yet.
As noted above, Xur's composition may not be exciting (although Crimson is really great), but there's a lot more going on in the game.
