Where To Dance With A Fish Trophy At 7 Different Named Locations

Fortnite is back with some weird/good challenges for season 6, week 8, and the best of the bunch is this new one, which asks players to dance with a fish trophy in seven different named locations.

What’s a fish trophy? Where are they? Why do they want to dance with you? All these questions and more will be answered below.

As you may have expected, the “fish trophies” do indeed echo that famous ancient meme product, Big Mouth Billy Bass, and you will find him mounted on walls up and down the entire map. Dance with him and you’ll get your challenge done, but remember these have to be different areas.

Go here to see where to shoot Clay Pigeons.

I have done my best to hunt down a ton of these, though my guess is there are still more and there’s probably one in every named area somewhere. But I have found ten, and you only need seven, so this fishy trophy map should really be all you need to get this challenge done.

So we have:

  • The house at the west side of Fatal Fields
  • A house toward the east edge of Shifty Shafts
  • The main lodge of Lonely Lodge in the back
  • Inside the sporting goods store at the northeast of Retail Row (with the giant fish on the outside)
  • A house at the northwest of Salty Springs
  • In the store smack in the middle of Greasy Grove
  • At the second house from the top in Snobby Shores
  • Inside the Dusty Divot diner
  • In the building at the north of Risky Reels
  • In the shop at the northwest of Lazy Links

I’ve found that if you run straight to these buildings you will probably not have the misfortune of running into other players trying to kill you with newly increased pickaxe damage, but they are all in named locations, which are hotter landing zones than most, so be on your guard. I would hope that if you ran into someone else trying to do the challenge, you would make a truce to let you both complete it in peace before you start trying to hack each other to bits.

I will be on the lookout for more locations, but again, this is all you really need to get this completed. Guessing there’s one in Tilted and Pleasant Park at the very least, so if you find those let me know.

I like this challenge, and it’s nice to have a “find seven things” again task from Epic after so many weeks of just boring “do a lot of damage with different weapons” challenges that have popped up since Treasure Maps and Search Betweens have gone away. I like hunts like this, and writing guides for them, so hopefully we see more like the fish trophy dances in the future.

I hope this guide was helpful to you and that you had some fun fish dances on your way to completing this. If I find any more I will update this list, but you should be good to go with this alone for now.
