Clues in the trailer seem to suggest that Hammerfell will be part of the upcoming Elder Scrolls game.

The Elder Scrolls VI was announced recently at the Bethesda E3 press conference, but with a little more than a short video and a title card to confirm its existence, we obviously have not learned much about the game. Since the game is in at least four or five years, it probably will not change anytime soon. However, people have been able to decipher clues in this short trailer to determine where the game might unfold.

GamerPros people did an interesting analysis of the trailer, and it looks like The Old Scrolls 6 will be attached to Hammerfell. For starters, the camera initially seems to move in a southwesterly direction, judging by the shadows projected by the Sun, which seems to be in the West. This too looks as if the camera was coming out of Skyrim, so based on that, the terrain being shown in the teaser could be either High Rock, or Hammerfell.

There is a certain section in the landscape that is shown in the teaser, which looks like a massive crater in the ground, with the ruins of a wedge sitting on its edges, and there is a chance that it can be the ruins of the village of Azra. Cross, as seen in the game The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey, and that the crater could be the one that was, according to the tradition of the series, created by an explosion of powerful magic of the shadow by Azra Nightweilder.

Interestingly enough, there is an additional clue in the trailer, because moving to the right side of the landscape, you can see another city, not far from three consecutive peninsulas, each larger than the previous one. Judging by the maps of Hammerfell, this city could be either Satakalaam, or Lainlyn, which are both close to two, Azra's Crossing, and the three peninsulas.

There is a chance that the game will take place in High Rock, of course, but judging by what we saw in the trailer, it seems very likely that Hammerfell will be the setting for The old roll 6. This seems to be pretty strong proof too. In any case, we probably will not know for a while. Tell us what you think about it in the comments section below.
