Withings' Pulse HR is a fitness monitor with a 20-day battery.

After buying out Nokia and launching Steel Steel Sport under its own brand in September, Withings releases a new portable version called Pulse HR. A water-resistant fitness monitor with heart rate monitoring, the Pulse HR features connected GPS tracking and 20-day battery life.

The tracker's silicone wristband can be swapped with two other colors and the OLED screen can display real-time workout information such as calories burned, daily activity goal progress and smartphone notifications. It can also track sleep patterns, detect sleep duration and wake up the user with vibration alarms at optimal times during the sleep cycle.

The Pulse HR is an updated version of the first Withings' activity tracker, launched in 2013. The original Pulse was actually not a group, but a clip-on tracker of the size of. a box of matches that can be attached to a pocket.

Although Withings has already made some pretty elegant analogue watch hybrids, such as Active Pop, the Pulse HR is for people who prefer the look of traditional fitness trackers. It is equipped with the own Withings OS2, which is the same operating system as the Steel and Steel HR.

Preorders now begin on Amazon and Withings.com for $ 129.95, and the smartwatch will be available on December 5th. The other bracelet color options, such as silver and red, will be available from January 2019. At a price of $ 129.95, the price is identical to that of a Fitbit Alta HR ( which looks quite similar), but the Pulse HR has a GPS feature not connected to have.
