Last August, Sumo Digital CEO Paul Porter said that Crackdown 3 was "pretty well done", and really just getting a series of polish. But apparently, it was a stretch, or at least largely misinterpreted, since most took that direction, the game was virtually finished. But that does not seem to be the case.

According to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, the game is progressing, but Sumo Digital still has work to do.

What will be well received by Xbox fans, is that Spencer noted that not only did he play a full version of the game, but that the game is running smoothly.

Given that the launch of the game was originally scheduled for 2016, after the announcement of its launch in 2014, the game should spark many expectations after Microsoft has repeatedly delayed it. However, having high expectations for a game that has obviously undergone a difficult development, can be a recipe for disappointment, because games that have development problems are rarely spectacular. Nevertheless, Spencer seems content and that's a good sign.

Earlier this year, a report revealed that Microsoft would not be willing to postpone the game, which would imply that it would send it as is or cancel it. Fortunately, it does not seem that Sumo Digital will test the veracity of the report, because from start to finish, the game is well placed and well targeted.

Repression 3 will be released in February 2019 via Xbox One and PC. It's been awhile, so if you can not remember what the game is doing, here is a quick and official presentation from Microsoft itself:

"It's time to step up your boom and stop crime as a powerful agent Crackdown 3 & # 39; s sandbox of chaos and destruction. Explore the heights of a futuristic city, roam the streets in a vehicle in full transformation and use your powerful abilities to stop a ruthless criminal empire. Crackdown 3 offers a cooperative chaos and a brand new multiplayer mode where destruction is your ultimate weapon thanks to Microsoft Cloud. "
