Xbox One Mouse and Keyboard Support

Microsoft has announced that Xbox One consoles will soon support the mouse and keyboard. The company then announced that it would work in partnership with Razer to offer players additional options for the mouse and keyboard.

In the announcement, Microsoft added that the support of the mouse and the keyboard would be case by case with the choice to implement it completely in the developers. No updates will add mouse and keyboard support to all existing titles on Xbox One. Developers will either have to patch an update or include it in future games.

Warframe has already been confirmed as one of the first games on Xbox One to receive a patch that will let you play with a mouse and keyboard. Microsoft has not announced the date on which the fix will be ready, but simply that it will happen "in the coming weeks".

For the moment, the Xbox One's mouse and keyboard features are only available to players who are part of the Xbox Insider program. Xbox Insider allows you to test new system updates for Xbox One consoles before they are officially released to the public. From time to time, insiders will also be able to test new features and games on Xbox One or Windows 10 PCs. You can visit the Microsoft website to join Xbox Insider.

Microsoft has also announced that a Xbox World Celebration Event, called X018, will be held in Mexico City on November 10 and 11. There are still not many details about the event, but Microsoft has announced that it will feature the biggest live episode of Inside Xbox.
