Xiaomi launched some new products on Walmart and unveiled the press report today at an event in New York. The first is a 150-inch projector priced at $ 1,999.99 at Walmart which also serves as a TV with Android TV. It's oddly too expensive for what it is, but it's also one of the few expansions of Xiaomi in the US offerings.

There are several things to decompose here, namely that this projector is strangely expensive for a 1920 x 1080p display. Xiaomi says it does not have a concrete project to bring a 4K version to the US, and that it is the same model as the one sold in China. You could have found cheaper 1080p projectors in 2016.

Nevertheless, the projector has a number of positive points, including a very short range. So you can place it at a distance of 20 inches from the wall while displaying a bright and colorful image, unlike other projectors that may need to be placed at the back of the projector. a piece and show a more faded picture. There is also a detector on the top of the projector, so if you get too close to the laser, the projector will automatically turn off its light to avoid damaging your eyes. The device also comes with a corresponding remote control with which you can call Google Assistant.

There are three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB ports, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatibility. It also has four speakers that support Dolby sound. The sound from the Mi laser projector is relatively correct, with minimal bass. This is enough to listen to your average pop song, but probably not ideal for listening to finely tuned orchestral music or heavy bass dubstep.

Xiaomi also launched a Mi LED desk lamp for $ 39.99, a Yeelight LED light bulb for $ 19.99 and a Mi bedside lamp for $ 44.99. Most of these devices are self explanatory intelligent devices quite explicit where you can adjust the brightness and freshness of the light via the corresponding Mi Home application. All come in a very generic white design.

There's also a $ 14.99 smart plug that lets you control the power of regular home appliances through the Mi Home app, transforming a regular device like a coffee machine into something you can turn on and off at distance. In addition, Xiaomi has created a second-generation version of its Mi Box, called Mi Box S, which runs Android TV 8.1 and costs $ 59.99. All products are compatible with Google Assistant.

All products are now available in the United States via Walmart. This is not the first time that Xiaomi has partnered with Walmart to sell products in the United States, although the company certainly diversifies its offerings over time. We asked Xiaomi if it planned to offer Black Friday offers on these products and we will update this information with additional details.
