Utah reports 3,318 new COVID-19 cases, 7 new deaths on Tuesday

The Utah Department of Health reported an increase of 3,318 COVID-19 cases – bringing the state’s total to 288,951 – and seven more deaths on Tuesday.

UDOH has received confirmation that 55,981 doses of COVID-19 vaccination have been administered in Utah.

The state’s seven-day moving average for positive tests is 2,800 per day, and the seven-day moving average for the percentage of positive tests is 32.14%.

510 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

With the additional deaths below, 1,312 people in Utah have died from COVID-19:

  • Male, aged 65 to 84, resident of Weber County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, aged 45 to 64, resident of Salt Lake County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, aged 65 to 84, resident of Washington County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, aged 65 to 84, resident of Utah County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Woman, over 85, resident of Washington County, not hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, 65-84, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Woman, over 85, resident of Washington County, not hospitalized at time of death
