Valorant patch 2.06 notes: Viper and Yoru update, Bucky nerf

[ad_1]

ValuingThe latest patch is here and brings some much-needed changes to Yoru and Viper. Both Agents were desperate for an update, and Riot’s new patch offers plenty of changes for both. The patch also nerfs the Bucky shotgun (finally).

The patch’s biggest update is for Viper. Riot upgraded his poison to instantly deal 50 decays – temporary damage – as soon as an enemy comes in contact with him. On top of that, she can now pick up her Poison Cloud grenades a little further away, and her poisonous screen wall now extends further than before.

Yoru got a slightly smaller update for this patch. His Blindside ability is now slightly faster and causes enemies to blink for longer. Meanwhile, his Gatecrash ability now lasts for 30 seconds, down from 20, and replenishes every 35 seconds, so he can activate it almost any time.

Another very welcome change for many gamers is Riot Bucky’s aggressive nerf. The shotgun was one of the ValuingThe most powerful weapons for several patches now, but Riot hopes to line them up, especially at long range. After the patch, right-clicking the weapon, its long-range attack, fires 5 pellets instead of 15, which should make it less powerful.
