Virginia Commonwealth University will be celebrating the achievements of its graduates of May 2020, December 2020, and May 2021 in person this fall. These graduating classes have not had an in-person graduation ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VCU will once again welcome these graduates and their families for back to school week for a celebration on campus on Saturday, November 13. More information about this event will be posted on the VCU return home site in the next weeks. Graduates of May 2020, December 2020 and May 2021 are encouraged to update contact details to receive details about the event from the alumni office.
Also this fall, on Saturday, December 11, the university will honor the accomplishments of the graduates of May 2020, December 2020, and May 2021 during VCU’s fall start at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. Graduates will be contacted by the university’s special programs and events office to register early. Graduation portraits will be offered to all graduates at the Siegel Center on Friday December 10 and before the start on December 11.
Over the next few months, university leaders will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and vaccinations as well as the advice of public health experts, including the VCU public health response team. For up-to-date information on the start, visit VCU launch website.
