Epic Games has announced the release date and time of the v7.40 content update in Fortnite Battle Royale, while giving an overview of the players' expectations.

While the Fortnite community is still under fire from the massive v7.40 patch, which has been very well received by a majority of players, Epic has decided to launch a new weekly update.

The v7.40 content update will be available on Tuesday, February 19 at 5:00 am, Paris time / 1:00 pm (Paris time) and, as for previous content updates, there will now be downtime .

This means that players will be able to try new updates as soon as they are online and will not have to wait for the servers to come back online.

However, Epic has already confirmed a new addition that will be realized via the update of the v7.40 content – the highly anticipated Driftboard vehicle.
