HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) – Elon Musk believes he can solve the problem of traffic in Los Angeles with a tunnel transportation system. A new video from Musk's Boring Company shows why.
The video shows a race of one kilometer between a pair of Teslas, also a musk company.
One of the cars uses the company's tunnel under Hawthorne. The other takes the surface streets, just like the rest of us.
As with any good advertising coup, it worked. The tunnel road was about three times faster.
On the other hand, there was only one car in the tunnel and all the usual traffic on the street.
