Apple TV + released a full trailer for its famous pianist The morning show – and suffice to say, the incumbent revival program goes through a few change.
Written and produced by Bates Motel co-creator Kerry Ehrin with Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell, the series – which has received an order of two episodes of 20 episodes right out of the grid – covers "the world of big issues of the new people who help America to wake up in the morning. Considered through the lens of two complicated women working to navigate the minefield of very powerful jobs while facing crises in both their personal and professional lives, The morning show explores the ego, ambition and the misguided search for power. "
The trailer reveals that Carell plays the role of Aniston Morning show co-host, whose career abruptly ends because of a scandal. Witherspoon's character is then prepared to succeed Carell … and eventually replace Aniston, to begin with.
Actors also include Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Desean K. Terry, Jack Davenport and Janina Gavankar. Mimi Leder (Leftovers) led the pilot (among other episodes) and serves as the PE.
The morning show will debut exclusively this fall (date TBD) on Apple TV +, a video subscription service featuring original programming, movies and documentaries. A subscription price for Apple TV + is not yet available, although the service is ad-free.
