Cameras on the outside of the International Space Station captured views at 9:48 am Eastern Time on September 4 on Hurricane Dorian at an altitude of 260 km, parallel to the northeastern coast of Florida. In its 10-hour EDT notice, the National Hurricane Center said Dorian was heading north-northwest at an approximate speed of 8 miles at the time. A northwesterly or northwesterly movement is expected this morning. A turn to the north is expected here tonight, followed by a turn north-northeast Thursday morning. On this trail, the core of Hurricane Dorian will move dangerously close to the east coast of Florida and the coast of Georgia until tonight. The Dorian Center, which is a Category 2 hurricane, is expected to move near or on the coasts of South Carolina and North Carolina from Thursday to Friday morning. Maximum sustained winds are near 105 mph with stronger gusts. Some weakening is expected over the next two days, although Dorian is expected to remain a powerful hurricane during this period.
