A spokesperson for the company said in a statement that a “small number of patients” had recently received blank images at a Little Clinic location in Midlothian, Virginia.

Kroger realized that nine patients had received empty syringes only when the Virginia Department of Public Health informed them – because the supplier “did not realize the syringes weren’t pre-filled.”
