Virginia police respond to report from an active shooter in Henrico County

"At the present time, no injuries or firearms have been reported, and we are continuing our investigation," the police tweeted.

The county school system tweeted that the police were going room by room through the Virginia Randolph Academy in Glen Allen.

"We have not received any information indicating that anyone would have been injured or located a person who appears to be a threat," the tweet said.

Henrico County is near Richmond.
