– A fourth grade student from southwestern Warren County died Wednesday of a cardiac arrest related to angina and flu, reports our press partner, wcpo.com.

Mason City Schools spokeswoman Tracey Carson on Wednesday quoted Sable Gibson, a student from Western Row Elementary School, as writing to parents.
Everyone in the school district is encouraged to wear pink at school Thursday (today) in memory of Gibson, Carson said in his message.
Western Row will also use additional counselors to help the boy's friends and classmates cope with his death.
