Warzone players love the secret Season 4 patch change for zipline mobility

Warzone players can now use ziplines at the same time as their teammates. Players were happy to find this mechanic that was ignored when the Season Four Reloaded patch rolled out to live servers.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is live and with this update a lot of changes have been made to the game we all know and love. One of the most significant changes has gone unnoticed as it was initially omitted from the patch notes released by Raven Software.

Warzone’s zipline mechanism has changed

This became evident to the community when a clip on the Warzone subreddit was posted by “aur0n” showing the new mechanism allowing multiple people on the zipline at the same time.

As you can see in the clip, the three players were able to get along right after the person in front of them got on the zipline. Previously, players had to wait for their teammate or enemy to reach the top before they could use it on their own. An interaction that previously took around 20 seconds now only takes just over five seconds. Reducing the time by almost 75% will allow teams to play at a much faster and more aggressive pace.

Redditor ‘dknisle1’ said, “This could be the biggest change in the patch. It could be a game changer. Especially at ATC. At Warzone Airport, there is an air traffic control tower that can only be climbed while riding a zipline. This is very friendly for campers and snipers.

Another editor, ‘Baxterftw’, agreed and said: “ATC tower campers won’t like this. It will be fun to push this now. With this change, it will be much more difficult for a team to maintain the tower without taking casualties along the way.

It also has a huge impact on the resurgence of rebirth. Some buildings have zip lines to climb, like Prison Block and Nova 6 Factory. The rooftops of these buildings are common campsites for squads, and teams can now unite to capture these buildings and achieve victory.

Since the patch was released, the developers at Warzone have confirmed in a tweet that this is an intentional change, not a glitch, meaning it’s here to stay. Raven Software has since updated the release notes to include the change.

Other players are happy with the change but still feel like more can be added to this aspect of Warzone. “Henryjhutchins” on Twitter is really excited but wants to be able to shoot from the hip while riding a zipline.

This change is something that the Warzone community has been interested in for quite some time and could certainly have a huge impact on the pace of the game.
