LOS ANGELES (KABC) – A storm is brewing on the Pacific and will bring heavy rain this weekend. Rainfall on SoCal will start late Friday night.

The storm could begin to pour light to moderate rainfall in Santa Barbara County from approximately 22:00. Friday. The heaviest rain will arrive on Saturday.

Up to an inch of rain could fall in the Los Angeles area Saturday, with higher amounts in communities located at the foot of the hills.

On Friday, the counties of Los Angeles and Orange, as well as the Inland and Inland valleys, will experience a cloudy day with a maximum of 66 degrees. Saturday will see half an inch to 1 inch of rain.

Beach communities will see Friday cloudy skies with a maximum of 63 and 2-3 feet of surf.

The mountains will have clouds with only 47 degrees on Fridays and over an inch of rain on Saturdays.

Deserts will be partially sunny Friday with a maximum of 63, and about a quarter of an inch of rain on Saturday.

Another powerful system will enter the region next Tuesday and Wednesday – possibly producing up to two inches of rain in some areas.
