SOUTHINGTON – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that injured six people – including four children – overnight on U.S. Highway 422.

The 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by Elijah Taylor, 25, of Cleveland rolled on the left side of an eastbound lane in the center line before turning around, the patrol report said.

Taylor was slightly injured in the crash at 1:45 a.m., while front seat passenger Christine Taylor, 43, of Warren, was also injured. The four children in the back seat, aged 1 to 9, were taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, with one child transferred to Cleveland Pediatric Center and another to Akron Children’s Hospital for a additional processing.

No update on children’s injuries was provided.
