West Plains, Missouri – A West Plains man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Texas County. The accident happened on October 9, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. on Business 60, 3 miles east of Mountain Grove.
The 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle in direction is ridden by Aaron Stanley, 39, of West Plains, rolled off the pavement, hitting the ground, tipping over and eventually hitting a utility pole. Stanley was not wearing a safety device and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Texas County Coroner at 6:37 p.m.
This accident was investigated by Private Z. Tate with the assistance of Captain Sargent R. Vaughn, Corporal J. Sellars and Corporal M. Philpott of the Highway Patrol Troop. ‘State of Missouri G.
