Addressing IGN, Starlin said he was "amazed" and "stunned" by the events in Endgame. "The highs and lows you have on it, there are really heart-wrenching moments mixed up with a lot of really funny little bodies here and there," he said.

Thanos is killed twice in Endgame; once close to Thor, who tires his head, and a second time – for good – when Tony Stark handles the Gauntlet and eliminates Thanos from his existence. Starlin pointed out that he was particularly impressed by the way the actor Josh Brolin interpreted the last moments of Thanos, when he accepted his fate and sat in silence, waiting for his destiny.

"I think his last moments in the film are priceless," Starlin said. "His behavior once he understood what was going on, I think it's just one of those little moments in the movie that everyone will remember." like to accept and take it as a man, you know? I thought it was perfectly played. "

Also in the interview, Starlin said that the character of Gamora in the Marvel films was primarily the representation closest to what he had created in the comics.
