Coronavirus vaccine trials are great news for the world. The effectiveness of Pfizer and BioNtech is promising and the first batch of vaccines could arrive in December in the United States. But what’s bothering the other side is the growing number of cases and deaths on record every day in the United States.

The United States recorded more than 2,100 deaths linked to Covid-19 as of Tuesday alone. This is recorded as the highest number of one-day covid deaths in the country after the start of May. On April 15, the reported Covid-19 death toll in a single day was over 2,600.

Almost every state has seen a record number of Covid-19 cases since election week. The number of hospitalizations and cases is increasing, suggesting more deaths to come. Daily cases of coronavirus in the United States have been consistently above 100,000 over the past three weeks.

Health officials have asked the public to wear masks and avoid gatherings. Stay at home and home schools have already been ordained in many states. But the number of cases is expected to rise further due to the celebrations Americans will not give up. After Thanksgiving and Christmas, cases are likely to increase, although the US CDC advises against traveling to celebrate.

Regardless of travel recommendations from health experts, more than a million travelers have passed through airport titles across the country, according to Sunday records by the TSA.
