SPIDER's season has arrived in the UK and eight-legged spiders will soon be invading British homes.

How long does the spider season in the UK last?
The season of spiders is not very long – which is good news for those who suffer from arachnophobia
It starts the first or second week of September and ends the first week of October.
The spiders enter inside as the weather begins to cool down so that they can mate.
Professor Adam Hart, an entomologist at the University of Gloucestershire, told the BBC that "at least" 80% of the spiders we see are men ".
They come looking for females who "stay in place" inside.
Females are usually seen in the garage or window sill in their canvases.

Do you have to worry about spiders?
In the UK, out of the 650 species of spiders, only 12 can be harmful to humans.
The false spider widow, also known as Steatoda nobilis or the false noble widow, their numbers would increase as the milder winters would allow them to survive and breed in more places in Britain, with terrifying observations everywhere from Cornwall to Orkney.
What makes them so dangerous is that they are one of the few species in the UK that can bite humans and inject powerful venom into them.
While most people will feel the painful bite and notice redness and swelling around the puncture marks, fake widows do not normally do lasting damage.
But in some cases, the bite can trigger a serious allergic reaction or the wound can infect, which can have deadly consequences.
HOW TO DETERMINE FALSE WIDOWS
Despite their scary reputation, you can take simple steps to prevent them from infiltrating your home.
The British should look for fake webs of disordered widows, which are normally much more messy than garden spiders. "
And you can also sweep the spider webs from the outside of your building to keep them from getting inside.
Be on the lookout in places where fake widows normally build their webs: cracks in the walls, escape pipes and triangular frames inside the houses.
In your garden, fake widows are most likely in sheds or trellises, so make sure they are well cared for.
If you repeatedly destroy their paintings, they will be more likely to move elsewhere.
And because they are poisonous spiders, it is advisable to keep your distance by cleaning the spider webs with a broom.
