COVID-19 vaccination cards are fast becoming one of the most important documents you have.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Tuesday that New York City will soon require proof of vaccination for indoor restaurants, theaters and gyms to help boost the vaccination rate.
New York City will be the first in the United States to have a vaccination mandate for certain indoor environments. The term is expected to begin on August 16.

There is an app called the Excelsior Pass where you can store a digital version of your vaccination card, but it is only valid for those who received the vaccine in New York.
