Oh yes, I can not find a parking space anywhere!

That's right, parking will be inadequate in downtown Pensacola if you do not plan ahead.

If you want to avoid parking complications, closed roads and parking tickets during Mardi Gras celebrations, be sure to check the parade plan and note the color signs before you leave.

Purple color panels mean that the parking lot is Time managed and a sidewalk parking is available.

Teal color signs mean Toll parking is available on the street, at car parks and garages.

How to park and pay

When parking at a teal sign, be sure to pay for the machine. Here are the different ways to pay:

1. Pay per application

Download the Passport Parking app for your Android or Apple devices

2. Pay at a terminal

Take a picture of your tag number before paying or you will have to pick it up on foot.

3. parking meter

Simply insert your coins.

4. Buy a parking card
