Riot has announced a series of upcoming changes League of Legends: Savage Rift in the next patch 2.4. This is a significant update that adds new content and refines existing systems, and it should alleviate some of the game’s current issues.

New champion Akshan will arrive in Savage rift in patch 2.4, alongside its release in the main version of the game. Three other champions are also making their way to Savage riftList of: Thresh, Nunu & Willump and Brand. Six skins from the current Ruination event will also be available. Representing the Ruined King are Ruined Miss Fortune, Shyvana and Draven. The Sentinels are also getting three new skins in Sentinel Irelia, Vayne, and Riven. Sadly, the Ruined King himself won’t be able to do this – Viego is being frozen due to some technical requirements with his kit that the team can’t quite figure out yet.

The arsenal of items available for players to purchase will be overhauled. There are 19 new, reworked, or updated items in the store, so it’s worth checking your regular item versions to make sure you’re up to date on the best things to buy.

The standings also get a bit more lenient, with three players from each team being able to exclude a champion from the match. There are no more promotion streaks, which means more gauntlets when you reach the top of one division and try to hit the next one.

The patch will also contain new observer features, UI and mission clarity updates, as well as a highlights feature that automatically records your best moments during matches. You can then save the clips to show them to your friends and loved ones later so they can enjoy your amazing Thresh hooks.

Speaking of Thresh, this creepy skeleton is skinned for Savage rift. The default version of the champion on PC is a specter of a flaming skull, but in Savage rift, he will always wear his much more attractive Thresh Unbound skin. A Riot Dev Diary stated that this change was made “to meet the demands of Wild Rift’s mobile platforms, and in order for us to maintain our current age rating (which is important as we want to make sure that players of almost any age can play Wild Crevasse). ” But this change will also be linked to certain developments in lore that make skin canon.
