Winter time and broken glass near the eastern highway of Oregon

Interstate 84 was not as slippery as glass and was covered with glass after a truck crash on Thursday afternoon.

The truck was about 11 km west of La Grande when the driver lost control at around 12:30 pm, reversing a load of windows on Oregon's main highway east, the transportation department said. 'Oregon.

The eastbound lanes were closed for several hours between Pendleton and La Grande while crews were cleaning the mess. The westbound lanes remained open.
