MADISON, Wisconsin – The Wisconsin Basketball game at Penn State on Sunday will not be played as scheduled.

The Badgers announced the decision via Twitter on Saturday night.

“Sunday’s game at Penn State is postponed as mutually agreed upon by the two teams due to health and safety concerns. Both schools will work with the Big Ten Conference to reschedule the game. The Badgers will resume training on Monday before Thursday’s home game against Indiana.

The tweet did not indicate whether players or staff from either team had tested positive for COVID-19.

Sunday’s postponement is the first Big Ten game this season not to be played as scheduled in conference.
