A woman demonstrated how to find all the information Google has stored on you.

TikTok user @yorgoandlea posted a short clip showing how you can find out what data Google knows about you.

In the clip, she heads to Google and searches for “ google ad settings ” and logs in, from there she scrolls through a list where you can quickly see that age, gender, and even languages. that she speaks are stored.

It also seems to show things that might interest him, like “architecture” and “audio equipment”.

The clip racked up hundreds of thousands of views and was inundated with comments from people who were surprised how much Google knows about them.

One person wrote: “Oh my God. I tried – the amount of information!”

Someone else posted: “This is awfully accurate.”

A third said: “This is why I am disabling all of this.”

However, others checked theirs and found that the information was far from available.

One person said, “Why does mine say I’m 44 and over I’m literally 19.”

Another added, “Apparently I’m 65 and interested in Utah and reality TV shows.”

As you probably know, the search engine stores information about its users, such as which videos you watch, location, cookie data, and which advertisements you click.

According to Google, it does this to “ do [its] the services work better for you ”.

The page explains that “Google makes your ads more useful on Google services (such as search or YouTube), as well as on websites and apps that work with Google to serve ads.”

He adds: Ads are based on the personal information you’ve added to your Google account, data from advertisers who associate with Google, and Google’s estimate of your interests.

“Choose any factor to learn more or update your preferences.”

Google promises to never sell your data, and the company says it uses it to “ make ads relevant ” while you’re online – but it does so without passing your information on to advertisers.
