Woman shot dead, killed before being thrown to side of I-675, Clayton County Police say – WSB-TV Channel 2

CLAYTON COUNTY, Georgia – A lane of traffic closed on I-675 Sunday afternoon as Clayton County Police investigate what they believe was homicide.

Police said they were called on the freeway near the Grant Road overpass at 10:41 a.m. Sunday morning after a driver noticed a body lying on the side of I-675 in Ellenwood.

Clayton County investigators say the woman was shot several times before being dumped near the freeway. They also say they could not identify him.
