Women’s March for Reproductive Rights

The Kern County Women’s March was one of more than 60 branches of the Women’s March speaking out in speeches and performances on Saturday morning. More than 100 marchers walked more than 1,000 steps from the Kern County Veterans Memorial to the Freedom Bell of Kern County Superior Court in Bakersfield.

“It’s really hard to have to stay pregnant because of the way someone has been injured,” Citiliansiad said.

Ctialin added that it is important to support “the most vulnerable people in us”.

“If SB8 is legislated in Texas, it will hurt low-income people, for example. [and] He may already be black or Hispanic.
