WRENTHAM – A local business has more cereal boxes than the average grocery store.

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services / Evolution Properties, a real estate company in central Wrentham, collected more than 1,200 boxes of donated cereal as part of a food drive to benefit local pantries.

Cereal will go to pantries in Attleboro, North Attleboro, Plainville, Norton, Mansfield, Wrentham and Franklin.

“We are almost at the end of our cereal drive for the local pantries and we have received over 1,200 boxes of cereal that have been donated,” said drive organizer and real estate agent John Cacaccio.

Cacaccio, a Norton resident, said the business was buried under boxes of cereal but wanted more donations.

“We all hope that The Sun Chronicle and its readers can help us reach the top and reach 1,500 cereal boxes,” Cacaccio said.

The drive should end on Tuesday.

Unopened cereal boxes can be dropped off at the company located at 26 Franklin Street (Route 140).

“I would be happy to collect donated cereal boxes at local addresses in our community,” Cacaccio said.

He can be reached at 508-838-1483.
