The Road to WrestleMania is traditionally littered with special moments throughout the trip, and Monday Night Raw, in Atlanta, was definitely one of the best records. The construction of this show for weeks was centered on the 70th anniversary celebrations of "The Nature Boy", Ric Flair, which ended up giving us one of the first twists of the year.
But last weekend, Atlanta Raw received a boost of notoriety by announcing that Roman Reigns would return to his garden to inform us of his condition while he was fighting leukemia for the second time in his life. To say that Reigns' return to Raw this week started on a positive note would be a huge understatement.
Let's take a look at everything that happened Monday night with what will certainly be a Raw that will be shown on the flagship movie rolls for years to come.

The big dog is back
Reigns opened Raw and announced that his cancer was in remission and he returned to the WWE. Check out the related story for more details and highlights of this announcement.
Behind the scenes, Charly Caruso recounted that Baron Corbin had shared his comments when he was chief executive of Raw and that we should all accept the fact that Reigns was dealing with leukemia and move on . He added that his quotes had been taken out of context because he was under stress that even Reigns could not understand. He just hopes their paths do not intersect now that he's back.
With Caruso behind the scenes later, Seth Rollins said tonight was a fantastic night. He once again promised that he would come out of WrestleMania as a universal champion. But tonight he's talking about the announcement of the remission of his best friend Reigns, and he's going to join him in celebrating him with cold drinks. It would not be the last time we would see Rollins or Reign for the night.
Drew McIntyre def. Dean Ambrose via pinfall (No Disqualification): Elias interfered with a guitar hit at Ambrose, helping McIntyre win. Batista ruins the Ric Flair celebration
Throughout the evening before the celebration, tweets of celebrities and celebrities wishing a happy birthday to the "Nature Boy" were broadcast. Video messages were also sent by Snoop Dogg, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Maria Menounos. Flair was shown arriving in a limousine with his wife, Wendy.

Ronda Rousey gives an ultimatum

Rousey put the belt down at McMahon's feet and left the ring. Behind the scenes, McMahon met Triple H while she was holding the title in confusion.
Despite the time that has elapsed between the beginning of this scenario and WrestleMania, WWE has done a pretty solid job of keeping it intriguing with different layers. Rousey's promo has been one of the best shots in all of this, and she has gone to great lengths to make sure her opponent Lynch is in the match is another of those interesting layers. Congratulations to WWE for continually piquing our interest with one of the biggest storylines in the company's history, given where the trip ends. Grade: B +
What happened to Raw?
- Aleister Black & Ricochet def. Waking through: A week after losing against call-ups Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, Black won the win for the other newcomers after delivering Black Mass to Scott Dawson.
- Dean Ambrose exposes Elias: Elias tried to organize a concert but was immediately interrupted by Lacey Evans, who just went down the ramp and back up. Ambrose said that he was a big fan of Elias and inquired about some songs that he might be able to play, notably "Dirty Deeds".
