Wyc Grousbeck identifies potential issue Celtics face during heat

There’s no getting around that, the Boston Celtics are not good at the moment.

Boston continued to stay in its brutal rut Wednesday with a 127-112 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, to cap a three-game road trip without a win.

It was hard. Yes, the team are facing injuries and have been rocked by COVID-19, but the recent stretch has left fans scratching their heads and wondering, ‘What’s going on? ”

Celtics majority owner Wyc Grousbeck has admitted he had “complained a little privately” about his team during an appearance on 98.5’s “Felger & Mazz” The Sports Hub, and believes that he knows what the problem is.

“It seems to me that it has been uneven,” said Grousbeck. “I think we have things we can point to… but I think it was uneven. Some games, or some times during games, we look amazing. And that’s a strong word, but there are good times when you can see a lot of potential in this team. But there are times when you lose the 24 point lead and lose the game. I have a personal feeling that I wish it was better and that it is not going the way I want it to be.

Uneven is certainly a good way to put it.

There is still time for the Celtics to get back on track, but they don’t have all the time in the world. The sooner they find out, the better.
