Wynonna Judd and Cass McCombs form a duet and share a new song called "The Child": listen

Country singer Wynonna Judd shared a new song co-written with Cass McCombs. It's called "The Child" and you can hear it below. In addition to the new song, Judd and McCombs will perform under the pseudonym The Frothy Pit at this year's AMERICANAFEST at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville on Thursday, September 12th.

McCombs writes about this collaboration: "Like many people, I grew up listening to The Judds. Needless to say, it was a real honor to collaborate with Wynonna, co-write "The Child" and enter the unfamiliar terrain of The Frothy Pit. Judd commented, "Working with artists like Cass McCombs has broadened horizons and made me all the more grateful that even after age 35, I still love the creative process. "

Cass McCombs released her latest album, Sphere tip, earlier this year. A collection of poetry is in preparation. The eponymous album of Wynonna & The Big Noise arrived in 2016.
