On August 10, Xiaomi will hold a press conference where it will unveil some devices. However, the protagonist of this event will be the flagship Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. The expectation for this smartphone is high for several reasons. Firstly, this will be the first regular MIX smartphone after the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. Specifically, over 150,000 people have booked Mi MIX 4 on JD.com. On Xiaomi’s official flagship store, Tmall, more than 80,000 people have booked. The total number of bookings on both platforms exceeds 230,000. This shows that the smartphone is very popular.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will come with a hyperboloid screen with a sub-screen camera. This display will support FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. While the excellent display is one of the selling points, the MIX 4 uses good hardware as well. This flagship smartphone comes with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. It will also be one of the first models in the world to use this chip. According to GeekBench, the Mi MIX 4 has a single-core score of 863 while the multi-core score is 3181. The multi-core score is comfortably higher than its predecessor.
In addition, this device will come with a large built-in 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. For wireless charging capacity, it will be between 70W and 80W. Nonetheless, it will be the highest wireless charging capability in the industry. At the moment, there is no official information on the price of this smartphone. However, we expect this to be Xiaomi’s most expensive regular smartphone. Of course, we know that the Xiaomi Mi Fold is no ordinary smartphone.
