YouTube Rewind is gone for good, 2018 video definitely isn’t to blame

YouTube’s year-end Rewind series has been around for years now, and people have generally been looking forward to it until the newsworthy 2018 video debuts. The company would follow up with the 2019 Rewind (which was also negatively received), but it chose to skip a Rewind video last year due to the pandemic.
