Zack Snyder confirms his ‘Justice League’ will be a four-hour movie

Zack Snyder as his version of Justice League – known as the Snyder cut – will be a four hour film, not a miniseries.

Snyder was originally on board the 2017 DC Justice League film as a director, but stepped down in post-production after his daughter’s death. Joss Whedon succeeded him on the film.

After fans, cast members, and crew demanded that Snyder’s original vision see the light of day, Warner Bros. confirmed that Snyder Cut is in the works and will be available on HBO Max in March 2021.

It was originally reported that the new Justice League would be a four-part miniseries due to its length. However, the director has now confirmed that it will be more of a four-hour film.

Responding to a fan on the social networking site Vero asking if the project would be a series or a “one shot movie,” Snyder replied, “One shot.”

Earlier this month, the filmmaker opened up about Jared Leto’s cameo in the upcoming film. In a new interview, he revealed that the actor’s appearance came from one of two scenes in additional photographs taken last year.

“There are two things I added,” he says. “A song that I had really hoped to shoot as a post but never had the chance to do, then a scene with Jared. This whole little piece with Jared.

Snyder also said he currently has no plans to film any other DC films. “Is it cool that the fans have so much confidence in the trajectory?” he said. “Yeah, it’s amazing, and I couldn’t be happier and I’m excited for them to see Justice League so they can really drink the whole Justice League elixir.” But would I continue? I don’t intend to. But like I said, I didn’t think I would be here, so who knows?
