How Monday's rain affects Tuesday and Wednesday

[ad_1]

The location and intensity of Monday's rain and storms will have a major impact on what we will see the rest of the week. The weather forecasting center included our southeastern counties in a marginal risk of severe weather Tuesday (level 1 of 5).

We could still see scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight. These will set limits where storms will go off on Tuesday.

The low pressure center that creates all these opportunities for rain and storm will move into our region early Tuesday morning. This circulation will also help to trigger storms.

Tuesday's Storms could start early – do not be surprised – and continue throughout the afternoon.

Some of these storms could be strong with wind gusts and heavy rains as major threats.

There will still be some downpours on Wednesday, so we will take the rain totals throughout the day. If you see thunderstorms, you will get higher rain totals (from 1 "to 3"). If you miss all the storms this week, your totals will be lower (less than 1 ").
