DURHAM, N.C. – Rookie sensation Zion Williamson was eliminated from the North Carolina-Duke rivalry match by a knee injury after his Nike shoe exploded in the first possession of the ball, the Blue Devils.

Williamson, the second-leading scorer in ACC, with 22.4 points per game and arguably the most exciting player in college basketball, left the game after 36 seconds on Wednesday night.

He ended up on the ground near the free throw line, before limping slightly, but on his own, before returning to the locker room without shoes.
