MADISON, Wisconsin – Wisconsin is approaching 17,000 all-time hospitalizations for coronavirus.
Another 117 people were hospitalized between Saturday and Sunday, the Department of Health Services said. A total of 4.4% of people with COVID-19 in the state required hospitalization, or 16,999 people.
Combined data from state and county health dashboards showed 3,830 * additional cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the total number of cases in Wisconsin since the start of the pandemic to 384 844 *.
Eighteen * more people died, a total of 3,359 people in the state.
DHS said 311,438 people, or 81%, in Wisconsin have recovered from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
