On Sunday, it was announced that the College GameDay team will come to Athens on Saturday when Georgia host Kentucky, led by head coach Mark Stoops.
This is not your average Kentucky football team; the Wildcats are currently among the nation’s top 15 programs in college football; this is true in football, not basketball. Kentucky enter Saturday’s game 6-0 with decisive wins over Florida and LSU.
Georgia took care of business at the Jordan-Hare Stadium this weekend, dismantling the Auburn Tigers on both sides of the ball in four quarterfinals after Auburn took a 3-0 lead over Georgia in the opening practice of the match.
The 34-10 win was Stetson Bennett’s second straight start as quarterback, playing in place of injured JT Daniels. In six games this season, Daniels, the former USC transfer, has only played three games due to injury. The latest being a batten injury that has been bothering him for at least two weeks.
Georgia were at ESPN’s College GameDay earlier this season in their Week 1 win over the Clemson Tigers and then again two weeks ago when Georgia hosted an Arkansas Top 10 team. .
