WALDORF, Maryland – A boy called 911 to report that he and six other children had been left in a Maryland car with the windows rolled up and the engine running.

The Charles County Sheriff's Office informs the media that the children were between the ages of 2 and 4 and it is plausible that it was the elder who called 911 on Friday. The boy told the authorities that the children were hot and did not know where they were.

The deputy ministers traced the call to a Waldorf shopping center and helped the children. Members say that the driver arrived about 10 minutes later, already gone for about 20 minutes. The driver, a mother of two who was guarding five other children, was charged with kidnapping children in a motor vehicle.
