LAKELAND, FL – The Lakeland man who was filmed standing across the sunroof of his vehicle while he was slowing down I-4 is now facing domestic battery charges, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Leonard Olsen, 70, was arrested Tuesday by the Florida Highway Patrol for reckless driving. He was captured standing in a white Cadillac, arms outstretched, while he was heading west on I-4.
On Saturday, the Polk County Sheriff's Office announced that Olsen had a warrant of arrest for his charge prior to being arrested for impaired driving.

MEPs say they made contact with Olsen the day he was arrested by the FHP and he agreed to surrender. The deputies were about to meet him when they saw that he was already stopped by the FHP.
The deputy ministers executed the PCSO mandate after he was put in jail.
According to an affidavit, domestic incidents began on April 30 and continued until May 6.

The affidavit says that Olsen is accused of strangling his 69-year-old wife on April 30 because she had been too long to lie down. She awoke the next morning with bruises on her throat and a hoarse voice, MPs said.
On May 5, Olsen's wife told MPs that she had gone home after dinner at the exit of another incident. Olsen ripped the dress that she wore by calling it "vulgar" and accusing her of having an affair, says the affidavit.
On both occasions, Olsen shouted vulgarities and played music to prevent the victim from falling asleep, according to MPs.
On May 6, the victim woke up in front of Olsen slamming drawers, turning on and off the lights and playing loud music, MPs said. The victim woke up and was unable to go back to sleep.
Shortly after, Olsen pushed the victim to his bed, rode him and put his hand on his throat, MPs said. The victim was able to push Olsen's hand out of his throat, according to MPs.
Olsen then put her thumb in the mouth of the victim and she bit him, say the deputies. He took the victim down and blocked the door to prevent him from leaving the room.
Olsen finally moved out and left the house, say MPs. The victim called the sheriff's office and reported the incidents.
Olsen faces two counts of domestic battery on a person 65 years or older, an indictment charge of illegal imprisonment and a domestic battery charge by strangulation. He is held with a $ 21,000 bond for all charges.
