A year after my failure, OCD finally lost control of me

AAnd although my therapist wakes up and checks his phone every morning, longing for my call, I have not given up on any form of therapy either. Now more than ever, I know how important it is to talk about how I feel, to encourage others to do the same, and even to discuss the fact that we are tired of it or that we are tired of it from time to time.

Over the last year, I discovered that the more I talked about how I felt, the more men I knew of open to me. I do not talk about whispered discussions in the pub corners with close friends, but honest, open conversations. We talk about how we feel, we listen, we offer help when we can, then we go to football / cinema / ballet. Simple.

The problem, really, is that one year later, that's what works for me, and although it may not be exactly what works for you, if you're ready to work and Face OCD head on, you will soon realize that his power to influence your day is in your mind.

A last note. I can not stress enough the usefulness of the book Overcoming Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (Overcoming Books). It may have saved my life and I would never recommend it enough to anyone who suffers from OCD, anxiety or any other continuous and troubling line of thinking.
