An Irish man charged with seizure of eggs of birds of prey

An Irish man has been accused of attempting to pbad rare and endangered raptor eggs to the United Kingdom.

The British National Agency for Crime (ANC) said that Jeffrey Paul Lendrum, 56, had lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, was arrested at Heathrow Airport June 26th.

19 eggs were recovered, two of which had already hatched.

Eggs were later found African fish eagles,

M. Lendrum has been accused by NCA agents of importing endangered species and must appear before the Uxbridge magistrates. Court in London tomorrow
