Johannesburg – The Midrand Magistrate's Court was supposed to say Tuesday whether singer Busisiwe "Cici" Twala was guilty of badaulting her former lover Arthur Mafokate.
It is understood that Mafokate and Twala both opened badault counter-attacks against an incident that occurred early last year. At the time, Mafokate stated in an affidavit that Twala had attacked him with a steel hanger and chair in addition to "clenching his teeth in his arms". He also said that the attack led him to consult a doctor.
On the other hand, Twala had accused Mafokate of dragging her beside her car, which resulted in her having a hip and walking on crutches. Mafokate pleaded not guilty to an badault charge with the intent to cause serious bodily harm.
Today, however, the court will render judgment on Twala who is charged in the case, according to spokesman Gauteng Phindi Mjonondwane.
A source close to Mafokate told The Star that the boss of 999 would not participate in the case.
