Sbongakonke Dlomo last spoke to his cousin Mzamo Dlomo on Friday night while he was preparing to leave to attend a funeral in KwaZulu-Natal

After arriving at their home in Ebony Park after work Friday, Mzamo called from his friends who told him that he would only leave for the funeral at midnight. However, Mzamo wanted to leave earlier

He then called the driver of a Quantum mini-bus that was transporting taxi drivers to Matimatolo's funeral, and it was confirmed that there was room for him.

but the driver, whose name is known to TimesLIVE, came looking for him before he could do it.

Mzamo dropped everything and immediately rode in the cab and it was the last time he was talking to his cousin Sbongakonke.
