JOHANNESBURG – With a renovation project expected to begin soon in Nelson Mandela's first Houghton home, the contractors have given badurance that the original appearance of the house of the Former president will be kept.

Nelson Mandela's house unveiled the plans at an inauguration ceremony on the thirteenth avenue where he confirmed that the dilapidated house will be destroyed. Thebe Tourism Group's managing director, Jerry Mabena, says the architects will respect the building by restoring the dilapidated house in its original form.

Mabena says the architects will seek to create a place where world leaders can get inspired by this iconic place.

"The landscaping and artwork will fill the space, evoking the memories of Nelson Mandela in order to be o design a sanctioned building for people specifically for the how they are intended to be used. "

Although the details on the cost of staying a night in this boutique hotel have not yet been revealed, the Nelson Mandela Foundation the public on days when it is not occupied by diplomats , academics or world leaders.
